Cancelation Policy

Requests received prior to the registration deadline will be granted a full refund. Requests received after the registration deadline but prior to the workshop’s start will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be granted to requests received after the start of the workshop. To receive a refund a written request must be made to hfrater@uwsp.edu

Spring Wildflowers

May 13, 2022 | 9 a.m.-Noon OR 1-4 p.m. | Arpin, Wis.

Join Bob Freckmann, Ph.D. on a spring wildflower walk. We'll enjoy beautiful Powers Bluff County Park, home to some of the most diverse spring wildflowers in central Wisconsin, as we learn to identify spring wildflowers. During a leisurely walk we'll discuss the unique ecology of the site, the property's history, and learn to identify spring wildflowers.

This workshop will cover:

  1. General overview of Powers Bluff's ecology and history
  2. Identification of common woodland, spring wildflowers 

Target Audience

This workshop is designed for landowners and nature enthusiasts.
