Cancelation Policy

Requests received before the registration deadline will be granted a full refund. Requests received after the registration deadline but before the workshop’s start will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be granted to requests received after the start of the workshop. To receive a refund a written request must be made to hfrater@uwsp.edu



​International Forestry Export Markets

March 9 and 11, 2022 |  10 a.m. - Noon | Virtual via Zoom

The U.S. exported $33.5 billion forest products in 2020 according to the United States International Trade Commission. U.S. forestry products play a significant role in the global forestry market which include hardwoods, softwoods, lumber, pellets, pulp, paper products, etc. The Wisconsin Forestry Center, WI DATCP, WI DNR, SBDC, and UW Extension are offering a 2-part virtual seminar series designed for the forestry industry. The seminar will include market updates, international trade policy and potential impacts, trends, as well as export fundamentals.

In this training, we'll cover the current and short-term international markets for hardwoods, softwoods, and pulp as well as take a deep dive into the Chinese market.
