The UW-Stevens Point School of Business and Economics (SBE) creates career-ready graduates in the majors of accounting, business administration, business eonomics, data analytics, finance, management and marketing. Our students acquire valuable on-the-job experience and course credit by interning at a business or non-profit organization.
The Anderson Classroom to Career Center hosts a variety of different services. From financial coaching to internship coordinating, student advising and Pro Events, our students are being set up for success. Not only is our internship program growing greatly, but over 65% of our interns are getting job offers are a result of their internships. Beyond that, there are countless opportunities for applicable work experience and to gain more knowledge about the industry.
Internships create opportunities for growth and the development of new skills. Beyond that, it pushes our students to grow in resume development and networking skills that will last a lifetime. Going one step further our internship program helps students build on important skills like interviewing and interpersonal communication.
