Women from across the nation came to Lincoln County enjoy a getaway weekend.
At the Becoming an Outdoors-Woman or BOW workshop in Tomahawk, the ladies got to learn a variety of skills.
For Kelly Troche, it was her first time ever driving a snowmobile.
"I can't even explain the thrill and I couldn't get the smile off my face," said Troche.
Becoming an Outdoors Woman is based at UW-Stevens Point and was founded by College of Natural Resources Dean Christine Thomas.
