This is homecoming week at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, with fun activities for students, reunions for alumni and events for the community.
It's also an opportunity to connect, not only with former college friends, but to bond with the newest members of the Pointer family. We welcomed 1,633 first-year students to UWSP this fall.
Time and again, people tell me they came to UWSP to get their degree and found the community so inviting they made their homes here. They have found meaningful jobs with local business and industry, they volunteer for community organizations, enjoy the many recreational opportunities available in central Wisconsin and encourage others to become Pointers.
