Wisconsin Environmental Education Board seeks representatives

The Wisconsin Environmental Education Board (WEEB) is soliciting nominations for three board members. Selected individuals will serve as the Business and Industry, Energy, and Nature Center/Museum/Zoo representatives. The three-year term will begin July 1, 2013, and end June 30, 2015. 
WEEB was created in 1990 to identify needs, establish priorities and provide grants for environmental education in Wisconsin. In this capacity, the board advises the Department of Public Instruction, the Department of Natural Resources, the University of Wisconsin System and the Wisconsin Technical College System on the direction and needs for providing environmental education in schools, organizations, communities, nature centers, colleges and universities, and various other sectors. The board meets quarterly, typically in January, April, July and October.
