Graduating students to exhibit artwork

This spring, graduating students in art, graphic design and interior architecture will exhibit works created while studying at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
 

A Bachelor of Fine Arts Senior Exhibition will be held April 17-27, with a reception Sunday, April 27, from 2-4 p.m. A second Bachelor of Fine Arts Senior Exhibition will be held May 1-11, with receptions on Sunday, May 4, from 2-4 p.m., and Friday, May 9, from 3-6 p.m. 

Both of these exhibitions will be in the Edna Carlsten Gallery, located on the second floor of the Noel Fine Arts Center. The Carlsten Gallery is free and open to the public Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. 

A third Bachelor of Fine Arts Senior Exhibition will be held April 26-May 5 at the Ignition Gallery, a temporary gallery at 2425 Main St., Stevens Point. A reception will be held there Saturday, April 26, from 5-8 p.m. The Ignition Gallery is free and open Tuesday-Friday from 3-6 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 12-4 p.m. 

On Friday, May 9, a Senior Portfolio Show will be held from 3-6 p.m. in the Noel Fine Arts Center courtyard and upper balcony for students in the graphic design and interior architecture programs. Food and a cash bar will be available.
