String and voice students from the Aber Suzuki Center at the University of
Wisconsin-Stevens Point will present a Festival Concert at 2 p.m. on Sunday,
April 27.
The concert will be held at Ben
Franklin Junior High, with a reception to follow. It is free and open to the
public.
The concert will highlight the
music of each of the center’s instrumental groups – violin, viola, cello,
piano, guitar, harp and voice – as well as the Suzuki Early Childhood class.
The event will also recognize graduating seniors, retiring viola and violin
teacher David Becker and the late Dee Martz, a former director of the center.
