Biography

Emily has always had an interest in education.  In her teens, she began working in the public schools teaching elementary students reading strategies.  After graduating with her English education degree in 2007, she worked for two years as a high school English teacher.  From there, she was UWSP's Academic Literacies Specialist until 2016 when she became the Writing Center Coordinator.

Emily loves reading; her favorite authors include Neil Gaiman, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut.
