The Department of Theatre & Dance melds rigorous class work with exciting production opportunities. Jenkins and Studio theatres are the laboratories where classroom training gels into our students' art and craft. All performances are at 7:30 PM except as noted.

The iconic American classic musical Carousel centers on a tempestuous love affair between gruff carnival barker Billy Bigelow and the young millworker Julie Jordan. Carousel has music by Richard Rodgers with a book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. The deeply romantic musical drama features such songs as "If I Loved You," "June Is Bustin' Out All Over," and "You'll Never Walk Alone."

Taken from court documents and true accounts, The Crucible brings to vivid life the Salem witch trials of 1692. Written in 1952 as an allegory for McCarthyism, Miller’s tense, spine-tingling play continues to force its audiences to reevaluate the power of fear in our society.​

Winner of three Tony Awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2009 (only the eighth musical in history to win the prize – the last winner being RENT).  In awarding the prize to the writers, the Pulitzer Board called the show "a powerful rock musical that grapples with mental illness in a suburban family and expands the scope of subject matter for musicals."  An emotional tale of a family trying to work their way through life with love, compassion and understanding.​
