Of course, we understand that this is very new to many students.  We would be happy to talk to you about our programs and how they might best fit in with your academic and vocational goals.  Why not make an appointment to come in and meet with us? WALK-IN Study Abroad Advising Hours:
Each Wednesday during the semester, you can simply walk in to the International Programs office, between 1:00 and 4:00 PM, and meet with a Study Abroad Advisor to have your program and academic questions answered.  NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY. 
FALL 2014 STUDY ABROAD FAIR:  Wednesday, October 1, 5:00-7:00 PM in the Encore Room in the Dreyfus University Center (DUC).  Come talk to propgram leaders, former student participants and the IP staff. 


Social Media is becoming more and more important for students in general, but for those traveling overseas, an understanding of the do's and don'ts is critical. We strongly suggest that all our study abroad students review this excellent guide .  You'll be glad you did!

Saturday, April 26, 2014, is the Workshop for all Fall 2014 Semester programs,  Summer 2014 London Internship and Summr 2014 Oaxaca Groups. Students are expected to come and are encouraged to invite their parents to attend. A schedule will be available prior to the workshop.

Short-term summer 2014 programs have a separate workshop on  Friday, March 7.

Students often ask about working while doing a semester abroad. In general, that is not possible. However, if you wish to investigate this on your own here is a good place to start.

In addition, for future international employment, contacting the UWSP Career Services Office is a good idea:
