It is important that you apply for your passport now. If you have one already, be sure it is valid for at least 6 months after the date of your planned return to the States. Find out more about the application process and then visit the Department of State to get the official form.

Many countries require a visa in addition to a valid passport. Visa costs are not part of program costs - and they can be expensive - up to $500.
