The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point offers the pre-nursing course of study in cooperation with the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Students spend 3-5 semesters at UW-Stevens Point completing the prerequisites for the nursing courses and the general education requirements for UW-Eau Claire. Upon acceptance to the UW-Eau Claire School of Nursing, students complete the nursing courses through UW-Eau Claire at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. Upon successful completion of requirements, UW-Eau Claire awards the BSN.

 

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is offering the RN-BSN curriculum beginning the fall semester of 2013, becoming the sixth partner in the BSN@Home UW System nursing collaborative. UW-Stevens Point students will be able to take courses on a self-determined schedule either online from BSN@Home or on campus in face-to-face or combined face-to-face/online formats, allowing for greater flexibility and program accessibility. The UW-Stevens Point will offer a quality curriculum that will put graduates on pace to function more broadly in their chosen area of practice.
