If you live in the halls now (spring 2014), you have priority in selecting a room for fall 2014.

(Sign-up for Suites@201 and Hyer Hall has been underway for several weeks; if you are interested in contracting for either, please contact Residential Living immediately - the process outlined here does not apply to these halls.)

To secure a room for fall 2014, you must pay your $125 housing prepayment and submit a housing contract. To maintain your priority standing, you must do this not later than Friday, April 25.*

Individuals submitting their housing contract/prepayment by April 25 will be "defaulted" to their spring room. If you wish to have the same room next fall, there is nothing additional you need to do. If you want to change rooms or halls, be sure to read the information on selecting a new room.

New for fall 2014: spring 2014 residents may apply online for traditional residence halls. This option is available April 2-25 only.*

If you have a friend who is not living in the halls this spring and with whom you would like to live next fall, follow the directions on requesting a roommate.

Individuals who graduated from high school in 2013 or 2014, are required by the UW Board of Regents to live in residence halls unless they are commuting from their parents' permanent home which is located within a 40-mile radius of Stevens Point.

* You may turn in a paper contract if you prefer (contact Residential Living). However, the last day to turn in a housing contract (either via the online process or a paper version and maintain your priority is Friday, April 25.
