How do I activate my UWSP account?
If you are new to UWSP or returning after at least one semester off you will need to activate your account. Go to
www.uwsp.edu/activate
and follow the easy instructions. You will need the following information to activate your account: Your 8-digit UWSP student ID number; your social security number, and your date of birth. If you do not know your UWSP student ID number, please call customer service at 715-346-3838 or 800-898-9472.
During the activation process you will answer a set of identifying questions and create a password for your account. The ID questions will allow you to help yourself if you forget your password or have problems with your account so it is important for you to remember the answers your provide.
Logon IDs consist of the first letter of your first name, the first four letters of your last name and the last three numbers of your student ID number (ex. zsmit123).
If you are a returning student (continuous enrollment) you should be able to logon and reactivate your account using the same ID and password that you set the previous semester.
I activated my account but forgot my user name and/or password?
Your user name is the same as your logon ID which is the first letter of your first name, the first four letters of your last name and the last three numbers of your student ID number.
If you do not know your UWSP student ID number, please call customer service at 715-346-3838 or 800-898-9472.

If you live outside the area or fall into any of the categories listed below, you may call the help desk's toll free number 1-877-TEC-UWSP (1-877-832-8977).
