​Registration Information


Classes offered through the College of Professional Studies - Continuing Education are intended for the "non-traditional" student, who is unable to attend regular classes on campus during the week. Class time and dates vary considerably — please consult the individual course descriptions for details.

You are a non-traditional student if you are one or more of the following:
  • are 24 years old or older
  • are married
  • have children
  • are a veteran
  • have been away from school for more than 18 months
  • are the first generation in your family to attend college

How To Register by Mail, Email or Fax

Continuing students who have taken credit courses at UW-Stevens Point within the last six months may register online!
 
New students and students who have not taken a credit course at UW-Stevens Point for more than six months may register by mail, email, fax or in-person.

Registrations by mail, email, fax, and in-person are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration deposits or full tuition payment must be paid prior to registration. Registrations sent by email or fax will be held until registration deposit or full tuition payment and signed credit agreement is received.

​Registration Deposit

All registrations require a $100 minimum registration deposit which is applied to your total tuition and fees after your registration is processed. Students may also make full tuition payment at time of registration.

 
Continuing and Returning students may pay their registration deposits online with a credit card or electronic check at

Students who are taking courses for this first time at UW-Stevens Point must include a check or money order made payable to UW-Stevens Point with registration form. If registering by email or fax, deposit may be sent separately by regular mail to: UW-Stevens Point, CPS-Continuing Education, CPS Room 100, 1901 Fourth Ave, Stevens Point, WI 54481. Please include your name, intended course(s), semester of course(s) you are taking, phone number and email with your deposit.
 
Registrations cannot be processed until completed registration form, signed credit agreement, and deposit has been received.
 

Credit Agreement

All students must complete the partial payment credit agreement, even if paying in full at the time of registration or a 3rd party is pay your tuition.  Registrations cannot be processed until signed credit agreement has been received.

​Additional Information

All current and prior term balances must be paid in full. If you have a past due balance and are on a payment plan, your past due balance must be paid in full before you can register for any additional credit courses.

UWSP no longer mails tuition bills. You will receive notification of balance due via your UWSP email account or you may contact student billing at 715-346-4796.
