Scholars are eligible to attend workshops designed to increase self-awareness that leads to academic persistence at UWSP, free of charge.

Career Services
Career services provides a variety of workshops that include: exploring majors and discovering career paths, resumes and cover letters, preparing for job fairs, preparing for interviews, mock interviews, finding jobs and internships and one that will help you answer the question, "Why should I hire you?"
 
Financial Aid
A financial aid officer will discuss budgeting and other financial issues important to students.  
 
Tutoring and Learning Center
A staff member from the TLC will discuss study strategies and encourage you to stop at the center for academic assistance
   
Allen Center
Peer health advocates from the Allen Center conduct a series of workshops that cover nutrition, exercise, fitness, alcohol use, tobacco use, stress management and issues regarding sexual assault
  
SIEO
A member of the Student Involvement and Employment Office will address student opportunities to become involved in leadership, student organizations, volunteerism, and on-or-off campus employment
