Welcome to UW - Stevens Point! We are thrilled to invite you to campus as a Pointer this summer. New Student Orientation is designed to calm your nerves, answer your questions, prepare you for the many exciting challenges that await you at UWSP, and ease your adjustment into your new community. You will be welcomed by an enthusiastic staff that will inform you of university programs and services and acquaint you with the campus.

There are two parts to Orientation: Step 1 - Registration and Step 2 - Welcome Week. Step 1 will take place over the summer, during which you will meet your academic adviser, register for your classes, and become acquainted with various campus resources and services. Likewise, you will meet other new UWSP students and your New Student Peer Mentor. All students are required to attend one of the summer orientation sessions to register for classes.
