Parking Lot Enforcement
Parking regulations are enforced year-round, even when classes are not in session. Student parking lots J, P, Q T and W are open when classes are not in session.
UW-Stevens Point Parking
The UW Stevens Point parking system is a self-supporting service, receiving no funds from the state, the university budget, student fees or tuition dollars. Therefore, all vehicles parking on university property are charged user fees. Revenue derived from selling parking permits and collecting monetary penalties/service fees assessed under parking regulations is used to administer, maintain and improve UW Stevens Point parking facilities.
Faculty, Staff & Students pay for parking on campus
Space for parking on campus is limited and Parking Services makes every effort to provide a variety of parking options. Motor vehicles on University property must have a valid permit or pay at a parking meter. The purchase of a permit does not guarantee a space. The university is not responsible for damages to any vehicle operated or parked on campus. Student permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Faculty/staff parking lot assignments are based on seniority-of-service at UWSP. Yearly parking permits cost $94.35, spring semester $56.60 and summer $23.60.
Alternative Transportation Option UW Stevens Point Parking Services supports the campus "green" philosophy and encourages the use of alternative methods of transportation.
Bike racks are located throughout campus for those who prefer to enjoy the fresh air when weather permits
Zimride is a private ridesharing network for UWSP
Overnight parking not allowed on the Stevens Point city streets. You will be ticketed if parked on city streets overnight.
